Situated alongside the bank of the Mahanak Canal or Klong Mahanak, deep in an historic area of Bangkok. Rimklong Hostel offers you memorable authentic "Thai way of living" experiences. The hostel is very well located and seamlessly blends in with its neighboring local old fashioned wood craftsman stores, and super convenient to commute to downtown Bangkok with just two-minute walk to the Phan Fa Lilat Pier (Golden Mount Line) to catch the Saen Saep Boat Service that can bring you to the prime shopping areas in minutes.
The views from our guest rooms and the terrace are fantastic, as you can see local boats passing by and the Golden Mount Pagoda in the background. Only fifteen-minute walk to the most interesting and exotic quarter in Bangkok, the Rattanakosin area, well known for its tourist destinations such as the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew, the Democracy Monument and Sanam Luang (The Royal Field), as well as for splendid food stalls and restaurants. The internationally famous Khaosan Road is also fifteen minutes from the hostel by foot, and a trip to Bangkok's China Town is a walkable distance too. Rimklong Hostel is located in one of the rich Thai cultural heritage areas.
We proudly present you a two-hour basic Thai dancing class by Kru Ja, one of the masters of the Lakorn Chatree, or if you have more time and would like to bring something home made by yourself, like a Thai miniature doll, Kru Taeng can offer a five-hour class starting from clay to dolls. Another interesting place recommended for your visit is Ban Batt, the monk bowl village where locals made their livings by producing hand-made alms bowl since 1700s.
We look forward to welcoming you to Bangkok and to Rimklong Hostel.
